Swinging Governors Island
"Get Into the Swing of Fall" takes place on Governors Island on Thursday October 8th. Water Taxi Beach will be the venue for a swing party featuring the Stumblebum Brass Band. This will be the last chance to visit the island at night until next year.

Last weekend the island we love served up another dose of the surreal.
Amongst the abandoned military housing, zombies prepared to shoot
the movie Isle of the Dead.
