A "uniquely entertaining and amusing marketplace in Coney Island"

Thor Equities is invigorated by the pulse and vibrancy of major urban environments. We match this tenacity by pairing the right properties and the right investors to maximize results with solid planning and execution.” – Joseph J. Sitt, Chairman and CEO

On Monday we visited the "grand opening" of the Festival by the Sea, billed as a "uniquely entertaining and amusing marketplace in Coney Island." Goodbye, rides and go-kart track and batting cages! Hello, mobile phones and laminated photocopies! Elegant grace note: the bin liners flapping from the roof skeleton. Imagine an undersubscribed car-boot sale held on the surface of the moon. Viva Coney!

Oh Yeah!! That's really Coney Island alright! I'm sure the trains were packed with people traveling there to buy mobile phones and eat at the comfortable plastic picknik tables. Way to go Joe!!!!We are not amused.
