This used to be a Cinema

Just by the Q Train exit on Flatbush and 7th there's an American Apparel. Up until 2004 it used to be where you could go to the pictures.

I remember that cinema well from living down Carlton Ave in the 90's. I think I even went there a few times. Hard to believe it's become an American Apparel. On that stretch of Flatbush!

It's a shame it shut -- not long before I moved to Brooklyn too. It would have been great walking up there to see movies.

I remember being here about this time last year, did`nt see a lot of detail about American Apparel, we were doing a news piece on Flatbush Avenue.
Adrian I love the English sayng "Go to the Pictures", even over here now they call it the cinema. I must be getting old.

We are supposed to be coming over next year sometime, I will try to seek you out, I am usually good at that. Hey this year will be the first time I won`t be part of the Fox TV New Years Eve crew.
