Atlantic Yards Camera Club

Jem Cohen and Camera Club at Atlantic Yards Brooklyn

The freezing wind chill and snow couldn't prevent a good turn-out for Camera Club today. Among the image-makers who spoke in the Atlantic Yards footprint this afternoon were Katherin McInnis, left, whose experience with an MTA cop inspired today's get-together, and filmmaker Jem Cohen (front centre), who spoke with the missus a few years back about the occupational hazards of filming public space. Meanwhile, MTA police personnel stayed warm inside their vehicle, below. You can check out images from the footprint here.
