New Year's Day: The Coney Island Plunge
This afternoon, the brave souls of the Polar Bear Club took the Atlantic plunge (42 degrees!) at Coney Island to help raise money for Camp Sunshine. Sensation has almost returned to my feet.
I love Brooklyn.

While surfing on the Net I found your blog, I stopped at it to have a rest and I explored it. There is interesting stuff displayed. Now I continue my surfing…
Make a stop at my blog, if you wish. Happy new year! Ciao.
LOVE these! Reminds me of that Sabra Cadabra show as far as water instead of mud on the lens!
Did you go IN the water?
Lisanne - yes! Though this time it was the insane cold of the winter sea that induced the group ecstasy, rather than mud, beer and Black Sabbath covers. I enjoyed both events very much indeed.
Michael - yes I did go into the water. I had a pair of swimming trunks under my jeans which I rolled right up and took off my shoes and socks. It was bitterly cold and most of my gear got soaked, but it was great to be in amongst that throng.
